Notes

With a shortage of time (Christmas is like that) the Fairtrade Cookbook used the instructions published by BBC on preparing a Gingerbread House.

Learning points

This was not as hard as it looked at first sight.
We could have made the gingerbread thinner, and we had plenty left over which was made into cookies.
Royal Icing worked fine as "cement".

Ambitions

For Christmas 2010 the Fairtrade Cookbook will have a bespoke template and will incorporate more Fairtrade Ingredients.
