FAIRTRADE ARTWORK COMPETITION
Officially sponsored by the Co-op.
And with great support from Traidcraft and the rest of the Fair Trade movement:

The Art Work Exhibition is now on display at the Ferens Art Gallery - Live Arts Space.
Visit the (free) exhibition and vote for your choice of best piece.
Prize giving is 19th March 2.00 pm.

Entry:
Any person who lives in Hull
Four age groups
Details of how to enter are given in the leaflet.
Artwork types accepted: Painting, drawing, sculpture, embroidery, photographs, indeed any art form except "time based" arts (=computer graphics, dancing, etc)
All artwork must include the FAIRTRADE LABEL somewhere in the piece.
The label is based on a person waving.
Prizes:
Sponsorship of the project has been approved by the Co-op regional committee, so some great prizes will be available.
All sorts of prizes have been promised including travel, art materials, wine, chocolate, tickets,

Judging:
A panel of judges will be appointed, and you the public will vote for the "people's prize".
The panel of judges has been appointed, names to be announced in October.
