April 2017 - New Story Night

Seven story tellers entertained each other with stories, craic, and reports from the Training Day three weeks earlier.

Hull Story Club

An evening with no specific theme.

We welcomed three new folks to an evening slotted into the calendar at short notice. Unfortunately Eileen was poorly on the night so Richard didn’t make the journey.

Steve L.

The fickle princess Brita married the gardener’s lad but no happy ever after. Went to sea on the seventh stream and met a seal. Now Brita’s children are everywhere, note the webbing twix toes and fingers.

Elaine

Recounted "The Monster of the Humber".

Karen

Reworked the (biblical) Prodigal Son via the related characters.

Cath

"Mary Parkin" and the cake that drowned the Filey dragon.

Heather

A true story of when Cliff Richard accidentally came to visit one Christmas Eve.

Steve O

King Sun, Queen moon and the beginning of sunrise and the cycle of day and night.

Anna

Enjoyed the yarns!
